In 1964, the decision was taken to end the separate Ladies' divisions.

The Seaholme brothers won their second of many men's doubles titles at the Closed Championships in 1970.

Marian Henderson retained her junior girls' title at the Closed Championships in 1970, but never subsequently won any senior titles.
